Liz Allen is an experienced social accountant and auditor with over 10 years in the field of social impact reporting. A strong proponent of corporate social responsibility in its widest sense; encouraging individuals and businesses to find effective ways to tell the story of their organizations and measuring their social impact, she has worked internationally with organizations across all sectors, in a wide range of industries. Much of her work includes sharing experiences in growing community-based economic development and the ripple effect that has on marginalised communities. She has a degree in Business and Leisure Management and a master’s degree in Social Enterprise.

Lisa is Director for Development and Consultancy at The Women’s Organisation (The WO), an award-winning women’s economic development charity and social enterprise based in Liverpool, UK. In her role there, Lisa provides advice, training, project development and evaluation support both within the organisation and externally for would-be entrepreneurs, small business owners, social enterprise leaders and public institutions to improve their activities, performance and social impact. Key fields of expertise include Social Accounting and Audit, enterprise development, particularly for small and social enterprises, women’s enterprise support and international project development. She has over 20 years’ experience of Social Accounting and Audit (SAA). She is a Director, and former Chair, of The Social Audit Network (SAN) UK.
